In brief: First place in our editorial ranking of electric and table grills goes to the Landmann Elektro-Grillwagen EG-II-590 (9.4/10). Below it are the 8 highest-rated electric and table grills from our individual reviews that were available on 21 October 2026.
Electric grills need neither gas nor charcoal, just a suitable socket. This page lists eight entries from our catalogue: contact grills for the kitchen, table grills and grill trolleys with a lid for outdoors. The order follows our editorial rating, with the Landmann Elektro-Grillwagen EG-II-590 in first place. We have not handled any of these devices; the ratings are based on instructions, manufacturer information and catalogue data. The buying guide first covers what matters most for this type of device: where will the grill stand, how many people do you grill for and what else is on the socket?

Landmann Elektro-Grillwagen EG-II-590: 3,200 W, 59 × 40.5 cm
The Landmann Voltris (EG-II-590 in stainless steel, EG-II-591 in black) is an electric grill trolley with max. 3,200 W and two separately controlled heating elements under a 59 × 40.5 cm grilling surface. You set each side in 50 °C steps from 100 to 300 °C.
Our assessment: The Landmann Voltris suits you if you usually grill for five or six people and have a 16 A circuit at the grill spot with nothing else large on it while you grill. You accept the fixed 50 °C steps for that; if you want finer control for low and slow cooking, our data comparison suggests the Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO serves you better.
Strengths according to our review:
- Two separately controlled heating elements, 100 to 300 °C per side (measured at the grill grate according to Landmann)
- Timer up to 990 minutes, after which the grill switches itself off
- Two meat thermometers with a display on the control panel, plus a lid thermometer
Weaknesses according to our review:
- Takes up a lot of space at 121.5 × 57.5 × 116 cm with 60 cm clearance to combustibles all round
- Temperature adjustable only in 50 °C steps
Editorial rating 9.4/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Landmann Elektro-Grillwagen EG-II-590.
Weber Pulse 2000: 2,200 W, two-zone system
The Weber Pulse 2000 is an electric table grill with 2,200 W and two heating zones, each set separately with its own knob. Grilling is on porcelain-enamelled cast grates measuring 49 × 39 cm, and two probes report the core temperature to the iGRILL app. Weber Germany no longer lists it (as of September 2026).
Our assessment: The Pulse 2000 suits you if you often want to cook two foods at different temperatures at the same time on a stable, heat-resistant table outdoors. If you mostly grill just one kind of food, our data comparison suggests the single-zone Weber Pulse 1000 is enough, at around €198 less; if you need wheels rather than a table, look at the Landmann EG-II-590.
Strengths according to our review:
- Two heating zones, each with its own control knob, designed according to the manual for two foods at different temperatures at the same time
- Core temperature via the iGRILL app: two meat probes included, four ports on the controller
- Grates, cooking-chamber liner and grease tray are removable, and the liner is dishwasher-safe according to Weber
Weaknesses according to our review:
- Table-top device without wheels: needs a level, heat-resistant base and, according to the manual, 61 cm clearance to combustible materials on all sides
- The display on the controller shows the average temperature in the grill, not the temperature of the individual zones
Editorial rating 9.2/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Weber Pulse 2000.
Tefal OptiGrill XL GC722D: 2,000 W, 800 cm² XL surface
The Tefal OptiGrill+ XL GC722D is a contact grill with 2,000 W and ribbed cast aluminium plates of 40 x 20 cm (800 cm²). According to Tefal, nine automatic programmes regulate time and temperature by the thickness and quantity of the food, and a colour ring with an audible signal shows the doneness. It is built for the kitchen.
Our assessment: The OptiGrill+ XL GC722D suits a kitchen where steaks or burgers are regularly grilled for up to six people and a colour indicator is enough as a doneness aid. For four people at most, the OptiGrill GC702D is sufficient. Plan for an earthed socket within reach, as the power cable is only 0.8 m long.
Strengths according to our review:
- 800 cm² grilling surface on 40 x 20 cm, according to Tefal 33% more than the OptiGrill and OptiGrill+
- Nine automatic programmes that, according to Tefal, adapt time and temperature to the thickness and quantity of the food
- Plates and drip tray dishwasher-safe, replacement plates and juice tray listed individually in the Tefal accessories shop
Weaknesses according to our review:
- According to the Tefal safety sheet, not for outdoor use
- Food thicker than 4 cm prevents the automatic function from starting
Editorial rating 9.0/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Tefal OptiGrill XL GC722D.
WMF Lono Master Grill: 2,400 W, 50 × 28 cm, 2 zones
The WMF Lono Master Grill is an electric table grill with two cast aluminium plates of 1,200 W each, which you control separately: grill on one, keep warm on the other. Together they measure 28 × 50 cm. The housing is Cromargan, and according to WMF the grill may be used indoors and outdoors. It has no on/off switch and no lid.
Our assessment: The WMF Lono Master Grill suits you if you grill indoors or on a balcony or terrace for several people and need a plate for keeping food warm. If you never use two temperatures at the same time, our data comparison suggests the smaller WMF Lono table grill with ribbed plates will do, and if you want to cook indirectly under a lid, you need a different type of grill.
Strengths according to our review:
- Two plates, each with its own controller: according to the instructions, keeping warm on setting 1 to 3, grilling on 4 to 5
- According to the instructions, the grill plates, drip tray and windshield may go in the dishwasher
- Cromargan housing, matching WMF stand with a working height of 86 cm
Weaknesses according to our review:
- No on/off switch: the grill heats as soon as the plug is in and only switches off by pulling the plug
- No lid, so no indirect cooking under a hood; WMF does not list a cover for this model
Editorial rating 9.0/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the WMF Lono Master Grill.
Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO: 3,000 W, TURBO ZONE
The Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO in stainless steel (item no. 97106) is an electric grill trolley with 3,000 W on 50 × 39 cm. You control the two zones continuously; at the press of the TURBO ZONE button only the right one heats, then at full power. It weighs 36.5 kg and is 76 cm wide with the side shelves folded down.
Our assessment: The eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO suits you if your outdoor socket is on a circuit with nothing else large drawing power while you grill (the grill alone draws a good 13 A) and you want a turbo button for searing. If the Enders eFLAVOUR 2 Turbo, as in our table, is only around €16 cheaper, we would choose the eFLOW. If you want to choose the heat in degrees at the press of a button, you are better off with the Landmann EG-II-590.
Strengths according to our review:
- TURBO ZONE concentrates the output on the right grilling surface at the press of a button, while the connected load stays at 3,000 W
- Two separately and continuously adjustable zones for direct and indirect grilling
- SIMPLE CLEAN: stainless steel parts of the combustion chamber can be removed without tools and are dishwasher-suitable according to the instructions
Weaknesses according to our review:
- The heating element of the TURBO ZONE cannot be regulated, and while it runs, the left heating element is off
- No maximum temperature in degrees and no degree scale on the controls, only three ranges on the lid thermometer
Editorial rating 8.9/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO.
Tefal OptiGrill GC702D: 2,000 W, automatic sensor
The Tefal OptiGrill GC702D is an electric contact grill with 2,000 W and a 600 cm² grilling surface for 2 to 4 people. According to Tefal, a sensor adjusts time and temperature to the thickness and quantity of the food, and a colour ring signals rare, medium or well done. Indoor use only. At Amazon it cost approx. €99 on 6 October 2026.
Our assessment: Our assessment: The GC702D suits you if you want to grill steak, burgers or poultry indoors for two to four people by a colour indicator rather than a timetable. For more surface, look at the OptiGrill XL GC722D, for a countdown and boost function the Elite, and if you keep an eye on the meat yourself anyway, the GC241D is the cheaper choice.
Strengths according to our review:
- According to Tefal, a sensor sets time and temperature, and a colour ring with an audible signal shows the doneness
- According to the instructions, plates and juice tray may go in the dishwasher
- Spare parts are available in the Tefal accessories shop, for example the juice tray for €3.99 (as of 6 October 2026)
Weaknesses according to our review:
- Indoor use only, no balcony, no terrace
- Poultry as well as pork, sausage and lamb are available only on the well done setting, rare only for red meat and hamburgers
Editorial rating 8.9/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Tefal OptiGrill GC702D.
Weber Pulse 1000: 1,800 W, iGrill app
The Weber Pulse 1000 is a plug-in electric grill: 1,800 W, one heating zone, a 41 × 31 cm grilling area according to Weber and an iGrill probe included. According to the manual, for outdoor use only. On 6 October 2026, only marketplace sellers offered it at Amazon, from approx. €854; the Weber shop listed it at €679.15.
Our assessment: Our assessment: The Pulse 1000 suits you if you are looking for an electric grill with a built-in iGrill probe, have a level, heat-resistant spot outdoors and an earthed socket with an RCD (residual-current device), and can manage with one heating zone. If you want two separate zones, look at the Pulse 2000 or the Landmann EG-II-590 with two separately controlled heating elements; for searing, the Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO with its switchable TURBO ZONE comes into question.
Strengths according to our review:
- One iGrill meat temperature probe is included, two ports for probes are provided, and the iGRILL app is free according to the manual
- Grates, cooking-chamber liner and the front-accessible grease tray can be removed for cleaning; the liner is dishwasher-safe according to the manual
- Warranty period of 5 years according to Weber, under the conditions of the manual and with proof of purchase
Weaknesses according to our review:
- Only one heating zone: the manual lists two separately adjustable zones only for the 2000 series
- 1,800 W is the lowest wattage among the four models on this page (2,200, 3,000 and 3,200 W for the others); Weber does not state a grate temperature or searing output
Editorial rating 8.9/10, where to buy: Amazon, marketplace sellers only. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Weber Pulse 1000.
Weber Pulse 1000 (Amazon offer): 1,800 W, 41 × 31 cm, iGrill app connection

Our assessment: Our assessment: The Pulse 1000 suits you if you are looking for an electric grill with a built-in iGrill probe, have an earthed socket behind an RCD (residual-current device) and can manage with one heating zone. If you mainly want to sear steaks, the Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO and the Landmann EG-II-590 are devices with more power; for two separate zones, the Pulse 2000 comes into question.
Strengths according to our review:
- One iGrill meat temperature probe is included, and the controller has two probe ports
- Grates of porcelain-enamelled cast iron; according to the manual, the grill heats up again quickly after the lid is opened
- Grates, cooking-chamber liner and the front-accessible grease tray can be removed for cleaning; the liner is dishwasher-safe according to the manual
Weaknesses according to our review:
- Only one heating zone: the second, separately adjustable zone is on the Pulse 2000
- 1,800 W is the lowest wattage among the three comparison models on this page (Pulse 2000 2,200 W, eFLOW 3,000 W, Landmann 3,200 W)
Editorial rating 8.9/10, where to buy: Amazon. All data, sources and the FAQ are in the individual review of the Weber Pulse 1000 (Amazon offer).
Buying guide: electric grill
Where should the grill stand?
This question comes before power. According to the Tefal safety sheet, the Tefal OptiGrill XL GC722D and the Tefal OptiGrill GC702D are not intended for outdoor use, so they are ruled out for balcony and terrace. According to WMF, the WMF Lono Master Grill may be used indoors and outdoors. The Weber models, the Landmann and the Enders are outdoor devices.
Weber’s requirement is strict: the grill belongs exclusively outdoors in a well-ventilated area, not in garages, buildings, covered walkways, tents, other enclosed areas or under combustible structures. For the Enders eFLOW PRO 2 TURBO, the instructions require 2 m of clear space above the grill. If you stand under a balcony or canopy, in our reading you should check this before buying. The Landmann EG-II-590 requires 60 cm clearance to combustibles, the Weber Pulse 2000 61 cm. Whether your tenancy agreement allows an electric grill is covered in our guide Grilling on a balcony.
For how many people and on how much surface?
The surfaces on the list are far apart. The Tefal GC702D has 600 cm² and is intended for 2 to 4 people, the GC722D reaches 800 cm² and, according to the Tefal feature table, up to six people. The Landmann has a 59 × 40.5 cm grilling surface and is designed for up to six people according to Landmann. The Pulse 2000 measures 49 × 39 cm, and according to Weber up to six steaks fit on it. The Weber Pulse 1000 comes to 41 × 31 cm, the WMF to 28 × 50 cm.
Our assessment: if you mostly eat for two, you do not need a grill trolley. For a contact grill, thickness also counts: with the GC702D the food may be 4 cm thick at most, and with the GC722D the automatic function does not start above 4 cm.
What heat do you need: contact plates, one zone, two zones or turbo?
The Tefal devices work with an automatic sensor and a colour ring for the doneness, which you can read without a display. The WMF has two plates, each with its own controller; according to the instructions one plate can grill and the other keep warm, but it has no lid, so indirect cooking under a hood is not possible. The Pulse 1000 has one heating zone, the Pulse 2000 two. According to the manual, its display shows the average temperature in the grill, not that of the individual zones.
For grilling under the lid with direct and indirect heat, the Landmann and Enders come into question; for Weber, the manual describes indirect cooking via reduced heat. The Landmann controls each side in 50 °C steps from 100 to 300 °C, with no values in between. The Enders controls continuously and has the TURBO ZONE: at the press of a button it puts the full 3,000 W on the right side, the left heating element is then off, and the heating element of the turbo zone cannot be regulated. If you want finer control over long cooking times, you are better off with the Enders in our assessment.
What must the socket deliver?
The connected load ranges from 1,800 W for the Pulse 1000, through 2,000 W for the Tefal contact grills, 2,200 W for the Pulse 2000 and up to 2,400 W for the WMF, to 3,000 W for the Enders and 3,200 W for the Landmann. The wattage tells you how much power the device draws, not how hot the grate gets. That also depends on housing, lid, grate and control.
For the two most powerful devices there is an additional requirement: Landmann and Enders require an earthed socket on an RCD (residual-current device) rated at 30 mA at most and a circuit without other high-draw appliances. The WMF also needs an earth conductor and a residual-current protective device of 30 mA at most, and for the Weber Pulse 2000 connection to an RCD with a rated residual current of 30 mA at most is likewise among the requirements. Then there is the cable question: the mains cable of the Tefal devices is 0.8 m long and permanently attached, so the earthed socket must be close to the spot. The WMF has no on/off switch, it heats as soon as the plug is in and only switches off by pulling the plug.
How important are core temperature and cleaning?
If you cook meat by core temperature, look at the probes. The Pulse 2000 comes with two and has four ports, the Pulse 1000 has one probe and two ports. The Landmann comes with two meat thermometers; the instructions and shop do not mention an app connection. The Tefal devices show the doneness via the colour ring.
The cleaning information differs: Tefal’s plates and juice tray may go in the dishwasher according to the instructions, for the WMF plates, drip tray and windshield. For the Enders, the stainless steel parts of the combustion chamber can be removed without tools and are dishwasher-suitable according to the instructions, for the Weber the cooking-chamber liner is dishwasher-safe according to the manufacturer. For the Landmann, the accessories are not dishwasher-suitable according to the instructions.
How this list came about
We have not handled any of these products ourselves. The basis is our individual reviews, which rely on manufacturer information, operating instructions and retailer pages; where we make our own judgement, it says so there. The rating is our editorial rating covering build quality, performance, handling and value for money, as described in the rating methodology.
This list includes only electric and table grills whose review we have newly revised and that were available from at least one of our shops on 21 October 2026. From these we show the 8 with the highest overall rating, in this order.
