To keep our content consistent, honest and current, every page follows the same process. These areas of work form the core of what we do.
Catalogue and data upkeep
We maintain a curated catalogue of popular grills. We record features, cooking area, output and construction from manufacturer information and publicly documented product information.
Rating and editing
Every grill is classified on four criteria: build quality, performance, handling and value for money. We write factually and without exaggeration and invent neither lab results nor customer reviews.
Price and shop checks
For each model we give a guide price with a date and link the offer at the retailer. Where we list two shops, the lower price comes first. Prices are in euros from Amazon.de and may differ in your country.
How you can hold us to account
We work people-first: content is written for readers, not for search engines alone. In concrete terms:
- No invented lab results. Our ratings are editorial assessments based on manufacturer information, a comparison of features and prices, and publicly available information. We never claim a lab trial of our own that did not happen.
- Transparent funding. We are funded through affiliate links. If you buy through one of our links, we may receive a small commission, at the same price for you. This influences neither selection nor rating.
- Traceable criteria. How we rate is stated openly in our rating methodology.
- Correctable. Mistakes happen. We accept feedback and corrections at any time via the contact page (in German).
