The Weber Precision grill tool set consists of tongs, a turner and a silicone brush. There is no fork in the box, and that determines what the set is good for: turning and glazing yes, holding a piece of meat steady while you carve it no.

We have not handled the set or grilled anything with it. The information comes from Weber’s product pages for the set and for individually sold Precision pieces, from Weber’s tools FAQ and warranty page, from the Amazon catalogue and from the product photo. The comparison details for Burnhard and Rösle come from the Burnhard product pages and the Rösle data sheet, prices and ratings from our own catalogue. Where we calculate or infer, we say so.

What is in the box

Weber lists the set as “Precision Grillbesteck-Set, 3-teilig” (Precision grill tool set, 3-piece) under item number 6764. According to the manufacturer’s page, it includes the Precision grill tongs, a turner and a brush, three pieces in total. The Amazon catalogue lists the same three pieces, gives 6764 as the model number and black/silver as the colour.

In the product photo on Amazon they lie side by side. On the left a brush with a black silicone head, in the middle a turner whose wide blade has lengthways slots, on the right the tongs. All three handles are black, and each ends in a metal loop for hanging. Weber calls the handles soft-touch and credits them with a comfortable, secure grip.

As uses, Weber names turning burger patties and vegetables, plus glazing ribs.

Tongs, turner and brush in detail

According to Weber, the tongs’ locking mechanism makes them easier to use and keeps storage compact. Weber does not say whether the tongs and turner in the set are identical in construction to the individual items 6760 and 6761, or how wide the set’s turner is; we therefore take the individual items only as a rough guide. The Precision tongs 6760 have a flat front edge for delicate food, are made of stainless steel and are 45.5 cm long. Our guide to the basic equipment checks three points on tongs: solid material rather than folded thin sheet, jaws with cross ribbing, and a handle set back from the hot end. We would look at these three points on Weber’s tongs too.

According to Weber, the turner has an edge bevelled on three sides for easy and precise turning. In our reading, that means the front edge and the two long edges. For scale: the individually sold turners are 11 cm (no. 6761) and 16.5 cm (no. 6762) wide, and the guide considers a width of about 10 cm or more sufficient for burgers. For overall length it asks for at least 35 cm; the 45.5 cm of the individual turners is well above that.

According to Weber, the brush is a large basting brush with silicone bristles; the Amazon catalogue says the same. Silicone instead of natural bristles has a practical reason: natural bristles char over the embers and individual bristles stay behind in the food, according to the guide.

What the edge, slots and silicone do at the grate

A turner has to get under the food without tearing it. For this, the guide distinguishes two designs: a thick-edged turner pushes a fish fillet apart, while a thin, front-sharpened palette slides underneath and loosens it from the grate. For smash burgers, according to our burger guide, the turner goes flat under the patty rather than in from the side. A bevelled edge points towards the second design. The lengthways slots visible in the photo let fat and marinade drain through the blade instead of carrying them from the grate to the plate; that is their usual job.

The tongs work differently. They grip a piece from two sides and squeeze it in the process. That is fine for a bratwurst, but for a thin fish fillet or a soft vegetable slice the turner is gentler in our assessment, because it pushes from below.

The brush comes into play at the other end of the cooking time. According to our marinating guide, sugar caramelises from about 170 °C and burns well above that. Sweet ingredients therefore belong only in the last 5 to 10 minutes, ideally over indirect heat. This fits with Weber linking the brush to glazing ribs.

The set has only one brush, and that has a hygiene consequence. As a general rule, raw marinade that has touched raw meat must never be brushed uncooked onto finished food. It is cleaner to set aside part of the fresh marinade before marinating, keep it cool, and brush with that.

How long are the tongs and turner?

About 46 cm. Amazon gives 46 cm without saying whether it means the tongs, the turner or the set, and Weber lists the individually sold Precision tongs (no. 6760) and turner (no. 6761) at 45.5 cm. Weber enters this value in the “Height” row.

The guide gives 40 to 45 cm as the range in which tongs suit most grills. Shorter tongs force your forearm over the embers, and beyond 50 cm the lever gets long and the feel for heavy pieces is lost. The 46 cm sits just above the upper end of that range and well below 50 cm. The basic line, our name for Weber’s simpler line without Precision in the name (no. 6317 to 6319), is shorter at 40.5 cm for tongs, turner and brush and so sits in the middle of the range.

What the set costs at Weber and at Amazon

On Amazon the set costs approx. €39 (€38.89 according to the catalogue, as of 05.10.2026). In the Weber shop it costs €64.99 including VAT, plus shipping (checked 12.10.2026). That is €26.10 or around 67 per cent more. The Amazon price is the benchmark on our site, and we use it for the calculation in the table below. All other shop totals in this text are added list prices; the volume discount from the FAQ is not included anywhere.

What the brush in the set costs can be worked out from Weber’s shop. The 2-piece Precision set of tongs and turner (no. 6763) is at €49.99, so in the 3-piece set the brush adds €15. Tongs (no. 6760) and the narrow turner (no. 6761) cost €27.99 each individually, €55.98 together, and the 2-piece set is €5.99 below that. Weber does not sell a Precision brush separately.

The basic line is clearly cheaper: tongs (no. 6317), turner (no. 6318) and brush (no. 6319) cost €11.99 each there, €35.97 together. The Precision set on Amazon is therefore around €3 above the basic trio in the Weber shop, and €29.02 above it in the Weber shop itself. Besides length and price, two differences stand out on Weber’s pages: the Precision tongs are 5.1 cm deep, the basic tongs 4.1 cm, and Weber describes the soft-touch handle and bevelled turner edge on the set page, while neither appears on the basic pages 6317 and 6318.

The price table in our guide to the basic equipment helps as a yardstick. It gives rough market values for solid goods: €10 to €25 for tongs, €8 to €20 for a turner and €5 to €12 for a silicone brush, €23 to €57 together. On Amazon the set is within that range, in the Weber shop above it. Individually, Weber’s Precision tongs and Precision turner exceed their upper limits at €27.99 each, while the basic line at €11.99 each stays within all three ranges.

What else is worth considering?

We compare the Weber set with these three sets from our grill accessories category; in each case what differs is what is in the box.

Model The difference Price Our rating Choose this if
Weber Precision grill tool set (3-piece) (this set) Tongs, turner and silicone brush, dishwasher-safe according to Weber approx. €39 (Amazon) 8.7 you turn and glaze food and put the tools in the dishwasher
Rösle BBQ Premium (3-piece) Tongs, gloves, SlideX grate brush, neither turner nor brush approx. €46 (Amazon) 8.9 you miss gloves and a grate brush for a stainless steel grate
Burnhard stainless steel grill tool set (4-piece) Tongs, spatula, fork, brush with replaceable head, hand wash only according to Burnhard approx. €49.90 (Burnhard) 8.1 you want a fork and a grate brush in the set and wash by hand
Burnhard acacia wood grill tool set (4-piece) Tongs, turner, fork, brush, acacia wood handles approx. €31.41 (Burnhard) 8.3 you like wooden handles and are looking for a cheaper set with a fork

The prices are benchmarks and change; the shop in brackets names the source of the benchmark, and for the Weber set the date is 05.10.2026. The rating is our editorial assessment from manufacturer data and not a measurement.

Calculated against the Weber set on Amazon, the Rösle set is around €7 higher. The two Burnhard sets are around €11 higher at Burnhard (stainless steel) and around €4 lower (acacia wood). For the Rösle set, the tongs are 44 cm long according to the manufacturer and made of 18/10 stainless steel; the set’s data sheet says dishwasher suitability: no. According to the Burnhard product pages (checked 14.10.2026), the four pieces of the stainless steel set are 45.5 to 46.5 cm long, the material given there is brushed stainless steel and ABS plastic, and the handles are black. For the acacia wood set, according to the Burnhard page (checked 14.10.2026), all four pieces are 42 cm long, the handles are acacia wood and the heads are brushed stainless steel.

If you would rather buy tongs and turner separately, you can combine the Weber Precision grill turner (approx. €30, rating 8.6) and the Rösle Premium grill tongs 44 cm (approx. €29.90, rating 8.8) from our catalogue. That comes to approx. €60 together, so clearly more than the Weber set on Amazon, and you still have no brush.

Care and storage according to Weber

As a care instruction, the set page says “dishwasher-safe”, for the set as a whole and without restriction for individual pieces. In the tools FAQ, Weber writes that with correct care and dry storage the tools last many years; that statement applies to the category, not specifically to this set. After washing, we would therefore let everything dry before it goes onto the wall or into the drawer.

After contact with raw meat, our marinating guide advises rinsing the board and tongs hot. In our assessment the brush belongs in the same round.

What Weber leaves open

These details appear neither on the Weber pages for the set nor in the Amazon catalogue:

  • the material of the soft-touch handles and of the brush handle
  • the stainless steel grade and the material thickness
  • the highest temperature that handles and silicone bristles withstand, and their behaviour in the sun or on the hot grate
  • length, head size and bristle area of the brush
  • opening width, spring force, jaw shape and joint material of the tongs
  • the weight of the individual pieces
  • wash programme, basket position and temperature limit when washing
  • the country of manufacture (only the address of Weber-Stephen Deutschland GmbH in Ingelheim is given)
  • the launch year of the Precision line
  • instructions with safety notes; the product page only says “for food contact”
  • the EAN of the set

When the Weber set suits you and when another does

It suits you if you are missing both a turner and a brush and want to buy both in one go. If you are only missing the brush, the set is the wrong route: the basic brush (no. 6319) is €11.99 in the Weber shop, and in our assessment that is enough for a brush. If you take the 2-piece Precision set and, when the brush is available, add a basic brush, you reach list prices of €61.98 together in the Weber shop (without volume discount), so €3.01 less than the list price of the 3-piece set.

A second pair of tongs belongs with it as soon as you want to handle raw and cooked food with separate tools, because the set has only one. As a basic pair of tongs it costs as much as a brush, as a Precision pair of tongs more than double.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Weber Precision Grillbesteck 3-tlg.

Short, clear answers about buying, using and caring for Weber Precision Grillbesteck 3-tlg..

Does Weber offer a grill tool set with a fork?

Not in the German Weber shop, as far as we saw during our research in October 2026. The grill tools category lists 35 items, including five grill tool sets: a 2-piece grill tool set (no. 3401326), one for portable grills (no. 3400213), the Precision 2-piece (no. 6763), the Premium grill tool set Compact (no. 6645) and the Precision 3-piece reviewed here. None of them includes a fork.

Does the set fit every grill?

On no product page does Weber tie the set to a grill model. In its tools FAQ the manufacturer explicitly names tongs as an example of tools that are universally compatible with gas, charcoal and electric grills, and the set includes tongs. For us it follows that the brand of the grill does not decide it, but the ratio of tool length to grate depth and lid edge does.

Is there a discount on the set in the Weber shop?

As of October 2026, Weber advertises 5 per cent off for two accessories and 10 per cent off from three items in the same purchase, grill covers excluded. Whether the set counts as one item or as three pieces is not stated there. Even at 10 per cent, the shop price would be €58.49, which is €19.60 above the Amazon benchmark of €38.89.

Can I buy the brush separately?

In the Weber shop, the basting brush from Weber's simpler line (no. 6319) is listed at €11.99, 40.5 cm long, with silicone bristles, a hanging loop and dishwasher-safe according to Weber. Weber writes of these bristles that they do not come off, do not fray and do not absorb odours. This promise appears on the page of the basic brush; for the brush in the set, Weber only mentions silicone bristles. When we checked on 14.10.2026, the page showed only "Notify me" instead of an add-to-basket button; Weber does not say whether it is available.

How big is the packaging, and does the set fit in a drawer?

Weber gives the packaging as 58 x 27 x 5.5 cm; the 2-piece set (no. 6763) comes in a box measuring 58 x 21 x 5.5 cm, so the box of the 3-piece set is 6 cm wider. The Amazon catalogue gives 57.8 x 22.9 x 5.4 cm and around 1.0 kg. Height and depth match Weber's box, the width differs. For the drawer, we calculate with the Amazon value for the length: at least 46 cm of depth.

Why does Amazon say Premium instead of Precision in the title?

The Amazon title reads Weber Premium grill tool set, 3-piece, and ends with Silver and 6764. In the bullet points, however, Amazon writes Precision, and Weber lists the Precision grill tool set under 6764. You can confuse it with the Premium grill tool set Compact (no. 6645), which Weber lists as a 2-piece set. The number 6764 in the listing is the surest way to identify it.

How long does the warranty on the set last?

We cannot find a duration for this accessory. On its warranty page, Weber describes a voluntary warranty of up to 15 years depending on the product or product part, valid in EMEA, but the table there lists only grill series, no grill tools. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by all of this.

When should I replace the tools?

Weber's tools FAQ names three reasons for replacement: deformation, rust spots, and loose or insecure handles. For the set, in our assessment this translates into three checks after washing: are the tong jaws still straight, do the handles sit firmly, and do the tongs or turner show rust? We would not put the tools down on the hot grate, if only because of the silicone head on the brush.
