The Urban II Pro Trolley is a gas grill with two burners that Enders sells as a tabletop unit on a mobile base. At Amazon it costs approx. €279 (Amazon page on 21.10.2026: €279.00). Enders’ recommended retail price is €329.00.
Item no. 206272: a tabletop grill on its own base
Enders Colsman from Werdohl offers the Urban II in six versions. Two are pure tabletop grills, the Urban II (item no. 2070, RRP €199) and the Urban II Pro (2062, RRP €249). Two more are caravan versions. The last two stand on a trolley: the Urban II Trolley (207072) and the Pro Trolley with the number 206272 discussed here. Amazon lists the same model number under the ASIN B0DGTNB4LQ.
According to the data sheet, the two trolley versions differ in the lid. On the Urban II Trolley it is made of powder-coated steel, on the Pro of powder-coated cast aluminium, and at 99 cm the Pro is a touch taller than its steel counterpart at 96.5 cm. Output, cooking area and weight are the same in both data sheets.
In our gas grill category the Pro Trolley sits between the tabletop units and the grill carts. Burners and grate are those of a tabletop grill, but it stands on its own legs and has a compartment for the bottle.
One restriction up front, because it affects several sections: the product page of the trolley links no instruction manual, and the Enders download area holds only a catalogue and a magazine. Where we quote from instructions below, they are those of the Urban II Pro (version 241031, 24 pages). They describe the same grill head in the tabletop version and know the trolley only as an accessory.
Burners, grate, lid and frame
Under the grate lie two stainless steel burners of 2.2 kW each, each with its own control knob. Ignition is by piezo, burner by burner: push the knob in, turn it anticlockwise to the highest setting, press the piezo igniter. If the first knob is at full output, the second burner also lights by itself according to the instructions.
The cooking grate is made of enamelled cast iron and is split in two, one half on the right, one on the left, both with integrated flame covers. Together they come to 49 x 32 cm. Below sits a removable grease tray. For cooking, removable stainless steel pot grates are included.
The housing and cooking lid are made of powder-coated cast aluminium, and there is a thermometer in the lid. On the product photo the lid is rectangular with rounded edges, the round thermometer sits at the top in the middle, and a cross handle lies in front of it. Under the grill head the frame has an open shelf, below it a body with a closed front and the Enders lettering. Two wheels sit on the right side, on the left two legs stand on the ground. Judging by the photo, you lift the cart on the left to move it and roll it on the wheels.
Enders connects grill and trolley via a slide system with which the two can be separated again.
Assembled, the Pro Trolley measures 94 cm in width, 60 cm in depth and 99 cm in height. According to Enders, the two plastic side shelves are removable and can be stored to save space. Without them 68 cm of width remains. The working height is 88 cm, the weight 20 kg; Amazon’s catalogue gives the same dimensions and the same weight when converted.
In detail: two zones on 1,568 cm²
Two separately adjustable burners divide the grate into two zones. For direct grilling, according to the instructions both run at full output, and the grate is preheated with the lid closed, approx. 10 to 15 minutes depending on outside temperature and wind. In indirect grilling the food lies over the switched-off burner, the other one heats, and the lid stays closed. The heat then reaches the piece via the hot air under the lid rather than directly from the flame. This is the usual way to cook roasts and thick pieces that should cook through without charring on the outside.
How large each zone is follows from the construction: with two burners side by side, roughly half the grate area remains for each side. That is our reading; no data sheet gives a zone width.
Gas grills can be compared via output per area. The Pro Trolley delivers 4.4 kW on 1,568 cm², just under 2.8 watts per square centimetre. For the Weber Spirit E-210 it is, according to the data of our research, 7.8 kW on a 2,314 cm² main grate, so around 3.4 W/cm², for the Weber Q 1200N 2.93 kW on 1,290 cm², just under 2.3 W/cm². The higher the value, the faster a grate in principle recovers the temperature that cold food takes from it when placed on. How hot it gets under the lid at most is not revealed by the figure.
You can turn the grate over. The top side has bars for grill marks, Enders speaks of sharp branding; the underside is a flat frying surface, called the frying function in the instructions. When turning, the right and left halves swap places. On the flat side, diced vegetables or prawns stay put that would fall through between the bars.
For cooking, you take out both cooking grates and place the pot on the pot grates. The instructions recommend diameters between approx. 16 and approx. 20 cm, so a small saucepan, not a large frying pan.
For baking, Enders sells a pizza stone as an accessory. According to the instructions you preheat it for as long as the grate, at approx. 180 to 200 degrees.
Can the gas bottle stay in the base cabinet while grilling?
Yes, if it is a 5 kg bottle. On the product page of the Pro Trolley, Enders states explicitly that it may stay in the base cabinet during operation, and gives 5 kg as the largest bottle that can be stored there.
The instructions for the grill head say something different, because they are written for the table. There a bottle of 5 or 11 kg may be used, and it stands next to the table. For the trolley the product page applies. What is useful in the instructions are the bottle dimensions: a 5 kg bottle is approx. 49.0 cm high with a diameter of approx. 23.5 cm, an 11 kg bottle approx. 59.0 cm high with approx. 30.0 cm. The larger one is not intended for the compartment. A bottle is not included in any case.
The connection accessories, on the other hand, are: a pressure regulator with 50 mbar to DIN EN 16129 (applies in Germany and the EU), type 694, with integrated EFV hose rupture protection, plus a gas hose to DIN EN 16436-2. A hose length of 0.8 m is recommended. The grill is designed for propane (G31) and butane (G30), appliance category I3B/P for Germany and Austria, nozzle 0.65 mm. According to the instructions it is tested and approved to DIN EN 498:2012 and DIN EN 484:2020, the product identification number is 0085CQ0040.
How long a filling lasts can be derived from the connection value in the instructions, approx. 321 g/h. Whether the figure applies to one or both burners is not stated. If you convert 4.4 kW into grams per hour using the calorific value of liquefied gas, almost exactly this value results, so we read it as the consumption of both burners together. A 5 kg bottle then lasts a good 15 hours with both burners on full, and correspondingly longer in indirect grilling with only one burner. Which bottle size suits which grilling habits is covered in the guide Gas bottle for the grill.
What else comes into question?
| Model | The difference | Price | Our rating | Choose this one if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Enders Urban II Pro Trolley (this one) | 2 burners, cast iron grate 49 x 32 cm, compartment for the 5 kg bottle | approx. €279 | 8.1 | you want two zones and the bottle should disappear into the cart |
| Weber Q 1200N with side tables and stand | 1 burner with 2.93 kW, 1,290 cm², stand without bottle compartment | approx. €499 | 8.4 | you grill almost only directly and for two or three people |
| Rösle Videro G2-P | Tabletop grill with 2 x 2.2 kW, stainless steel grate 39 x 32.5 cm | approx. €299.99 | 8.2 | a fixed table or a wall outdoors is already there |
| Weber Spirit E-210 | Grill cart with 7.8 kW and 2,314 cm² main grate | approx. €389 | 8.9 | you often grill for larger groups and never take the grill off its frame |
The prices are guide values from our price boxes and may look different on the day you buy. The rating is our editorial assessment from the data comparison; we neither measured nor grilled on any of the four devices.
When the Pro Trolley fits and when another one does
First, space. On the terrace the cart takes up 94 x 60 cm, with the shelves removed 68 x 60 cm. Added to that are the clearances to the side and upwards that Enders prescribes and which are given in the section on setting up. On a narrow balcony it quickly gets tight.
Enders does not say how many people the area is intended for. With 49 x 32 cm we would plan for three, at most four people if everything is to go on the grate at the same time. If you need more grate, the Weber Spirit E-210 with a 2,314 cm² main grate has almost 50 percent more area; Amazon names it for 2 to 4 people. In our price box it stands at approx. €389 against approx. €279.
On the product page Enders describes the grill head as ideal for the balcony, and Amazon’s title speaks of a balcony and camping grill. The instructions require operation outdoors on a fireproof surface. Whether gas grilling is permitted on your balcony at all is governed by your tenancy agreement and house rules. What is usual there, we have collected in the guide Grilling on a balcony.
Then the lid. By RRP the Pro Trolley is €50 above the Urban II Trolley with a steel lid, €329 against €279. Cast aluminium does not rust, powder-coated steel stays rust-free only as long as the coating is intact. If you cannot store the grill dry after every use, we would take the cast aluminium lid. With a dry shed right next to the terrace, the steel trolley is the sensible choice.
If you do not need a cart at all because a sturdy table stands outdoors, the grill head alone is enough. The Urban II Pro tabletop grill stands in our price box at approx. €179, the bottle then goes next to the table.
The Weber Q 1200N with stand is in our price box at approx. €499 (on 21.10.2026 only from marketplace sellers on Amazon, Amazon itself did not offer it), above the Enders at approx. €279. It has one burner and therefore one zone, and its stand has no compartment for the bottle. If you almost only grill sausages and steaks directly, you lose little with it.
Last, mobility. At 20 kg and with wheels on one side, the cart is built for short trips across the terrace. The instructions for the grill head, however, require that after use and before every change of location you switch off the grill, close the bottle valve and remove the bottle. Whether Enders means this the same way for the trolley with the bottle in the compartment, we could not clarify without a separate trolley manual. We would do it that way.
Accessories, running costs and open points
On the product page Enders lists matching accessories with prices. Intended for the trolley is the premium weather cover of the Urban II series with trolley for €34.95. The cartridge holder set for operation with a screw-on cartridge, the pizza stone and the cast plate 1/2 also cost €34.95. The stainless steel grill pan with bowls is in the list at €59.90, the stainless steel wok at €29.95. A screw-on cartridge of 450 g costs €7.99 there, the Style gas bottle cover for 11 kg €17.99.
To start, you therefore need at least a gas bottle if you have none at home, and the cover for the time between barbecue evenings. Later the hose and regulator come up; the deadlines for these are below under maintenance.
Setting up, connecting, cleaning: what the instructions prescribe
The following notes come from the instructions of the Urban II Pro and are given here as close to the wording as possible, supplemented by the emergency notes at the end of the section. Grease fires and storage of the bottle we answer in the questions further down.
Setting up and operation: use the gas grill only outdoors and set it up sheltered from the wind. The design of the housing protects the burners against gusts of wind, but you should still look for a wind-protected spot. Keep the grill away from moisture and splash water and place it on a level, stable and fireproof surface. The distance to combustible and heat-sensitive materials must not be less than 0.5 m. Above the grill there must be no objects or parts of buildings below a height of 1 m, measured with the lid open from its highest point. The ventilation openings stay clear. During operation the unit is not moved and not left unattended. Before every use you check the hose and pressure regulator for cracks and damage; if anything is defective, the grill stays off. The bottle valve is open only while the grill is in operation, and in case of gas leakage or a fault you close it immediately. The rule on changing location is above under mobility. To avoid overheating, the cooking surface must not be completely covered with aluminium foil or similar. No smoking while handling the gas system, and the bottle does not stand near open fire. You protect bottle and cartridge equally from strong sun: the bottle must not exceed 40 °C, the cartridge 50 °C.
Connection: the grill may only be operated with a pressure regulator; the one supplied is set at the factory for liquefied gas. When connecting or changing the bottle, there must be no ignition sources or open fire nearby. The union nuts have a left-hand thread. First you screw the nut of the hose onto the pressure regulator and tighten it with a spanner. You fit the regulator onto the bottle by hand, explicitly without tools, so that the seal stays intact. At the grill you remove the protective cap, tighten the hose nut and hold against it with a second spanner on the spanner flats of the pressure regulator. The hose must be neither kinked nor chafe and must be accessible along its whole length. Then you brush all connection points with leak detection spray or soapy water (1 part soap to 3 parts water) and open the bottle valve; where bubbles appear, the point is leaking. Afterwards you clean the points with water. A leak test with an open flame is strictly prohibited. When buying or renting the bottle, you should seek advice from a specialist retailer.
Maintenance: you make no modifications to the grill and the pressure regulator, sealed components are not tampered with, and repairs or maintenance on gas-carrying parts belong to authorised specialist personnel. Gas hose and pressure regulator must be replaced at regular intervals, and additionally when national regulations or the validity period of the hose line require it. The hose must be serviced after 5 years, the date of manufacture is on it. You replace pressure regulator and hose after 10 years at the latest, and a new hose must not be longer than 1.5 m. You never free stiff valves and control knobs with oil or penetrating oil, because gas together with oil forms an explosive mixture.
Cleaning: wait until the grill has cooled down enough. Before every use you free the fire box and grease tray of grease, after every use you clean the grill. Combustible, abrasive and chlorine-containing cleaning agents are excluded. You pull out the grease tray and dispose of the grease in an environmentally friendly way. You clean the lid and cast iron grates after every grilling session, if needed with a mild detergent, rinse with water and dry all surfaces with a microfibre cloth. You push residues through the perforation at the burner into the grease tray below and wipe out the housing with warm soapy water. You clean plastic parts with warm water, without solvents, stainless steel cleaner or scouring agents. Painted surfaces get a mild cleaner, warm water and a soft cloth, but no oven cleaner and no stainless steel cleaner. On the burners you use a soft brush, not a metal brush, and you clear a blocked burner tube with a needle or a pipe cleaner. To remove it, you loosen the nut on the underside of the burner, take it out upwards and clean its openings. Before the next use everything must be dry. So that no grease ignites, you should dab excess grease or marinade off the food before grilling and regularly remove grease deposits, especially on the inside of the fire box. The unit is stored frost-free and dry, with the lid closed and covered.
Emergency: according to the instructions, high gas concentrations can lead to suffocation without the victim noticing; bring those affected into fresh air and call a doctor. You cool burns for at least 15 minutes with cold water, for larger burns you call the emergency services immediately, home remedies are taboo according to the instructions.
According to the product page, data sheet and the instructions for the grill head, these points remain open: what material the trolley and base cabinet are made of, whether the front of the compartment has a door, how large the wheels are and whether they can be locked, what the trolley weighs on its own, how hot it can get under the lid and what scale the thermometer has, whether a warming rack is included, what material the grease tray is made of, how long assembly takes and in how many boxes the grill arrives, where it is manufactured and since when it has existed. No data sheet lists a side burner. We found nowhere any safety notes specifically for operation with a bottle in the base cabinet that would belong in a separate trolley manual.
Who is it suitable for?
The instructions themselves limit the circle of users. The gas grill may only be used for grilling outdoors. It is not intended for use by children and by persons with a limited ability to operate appliances. Its surfaces can become very hot during operation, so you warn bystanders and keep children away, and you wear protective gloves when handling hot components.
The wrong choice is the Pro Trolley for clubhouses, community gardens and anyone who grills commercially: the manufacturer’s warranty applies only to grills used privately, explicitly not to those used commercially or in communal facilities, and only in Europe.
We find it suitable for a small household with a terrace or a ground-level garden that does not want to put the grill on a table and does not want the bottle standing next to the cart. Whether a grill cart or a tabletop unit suits you better, you can play through in the Grill Finder.
