The TLSUNNY 4+1 is a gas grill cart with four main burners under a lid and a fifth burner in the left side table. Amazon lists it as “TLSUNNY 4+1 Brenner Gasgrill mit Seitenkochfeld, Grillwagen Gas Edelstahl”. The current catalogue title does not carry the “Master” suffix under which it appears with us. According to our price box it costs approx. €290 (Amazon page on 21 October 2026: €289.99). In our gas grill category, that puts it among the inexpensive carts with a side burner.
We have not handled the grill and have not grilled anything on it. What is written here about the device comes from the Amazon catalogue, meaning the seller’s product texts and the detail table, and from the product photo. A manufacturer website was not reachable. We found an instruction manual neither on Amazon nor by searching; the product page has only two insurance PDFs. This is the most important caveat of this text, and it mainly affects the sections on gas and safety.
What the catalogue says: burners, grate, cart
Under the lid are four stainless steel tube burners at 10,000 BTU each, converted 2.93 kW. The side burner has 8,000 BTU or 2.33 kW. Each of the five burners is ignited separately by pulse ignition and controlled by a rotary knob; in the photo, four knobs sit in the front panel and a fifth at the front of the left side table. The detail table adds everything up to 14.05 kW heating output.
According to the seller, the grate is double-layer, large and chrome-plated. The steel trays are powder-coated black, and the handle and frame are listed in the table as stainless steel. A thermometer sits on the lid. Below the cooking chamber is a cabinet with two doors, side tables left and right extend the work surface, and on the right one hang hooks for tongs and gloves.
Amazon gives the cooking area as 3,937 cm². Whether this covers only the main grate or also a shelf and the side burner is not clear from the listing, and the edge dimensions of the grate are not stated anywhere. We therefore do not calculate a number of people from this figure. In the photo, a raised grid shelf can be seen behind the main grate that looks like a warming rack. It does not appear in the text details.
For the space it needs, the detail table gives 133 x 42 cm, and the weight is 35.1 kg (35,147 g). Amazon labels the 133 cm as depth. The photo, however, shows a wide cart with shelves on both sides, so we read the figure as the total width across both side tables. Nobody has confirmed this. The cart has two wheels, both on one side.
In detail: total output, main burners and two zones
The total sounds large, but not all of it belongs to grilling. The side burner sits outside the lid and does not heat the cooking chamber. For the grate and lid, that leaves the four main burners with 11.72 kW combined. The 2.33 kW at the side burner is a separate cooking point for a pot or pan.
BTU is the British thermal unit, in which many gas grills from the Far East and the USA are specified. One BTU per hour equals roughly 0.293 watts, so the seller’s conversion is correct. A kW figure for a gas appliance describes how much gas the burner uses at full setting. It does not say how hot the grate gets: that depends on how tightly the lid closes, how far the grate sits above the flame and how much heat is lost through the walls. To compare two carts, the kW figure is only useful together with the grilling area, and that is exactly what remains unclear here.
Four individually adjustable burners are the precondition for two zones. For example, you light the two left burners on full and leave the right ones off. With the lid closed, whatever should not sit directly over the flame then cooks on the right half: a whole chicken, thick bratwurst after browning, a piece of pork belly. With four burners you can reduce the indirect area to a quarter or increase it to three quarters; with two burners only half the side remains. The lid thermometer measures the air under the lid at its installation height, not the temperature at the grate and certainly not inside the meat. For core temperatures you need a separate probe thermometer.
A word on the grate’s construction. Chrome-plated steel is the cheap solution; cast iron stores more heat, and enamelled grates are protected against rust by their glass layer. As a general rule, chrome coatings tolerate scratches poorly, and where the coating is worn off, the steel underneath can rust. How thick the coating is on the TLSUNNY and whether a wire brush is allowed cannot be said without a manual.
Gas, regulator, bottle: what to clarify beforehand
The grill comes with a gas pressure regulator with an integrated hose rupture safety device, specification I3B/P(50). The code comes from the European classification of gas appliances: I3B/P stands for liquefied gas with a fixed connection pressure, and the 50 for 50 mbar, the usual pressure in Germany. The seller writes: “Only suitable for gas bottle connections in Germany, Austria and Switzerland”. If you want to use the grill elsewhere, according to the seller you must buy a gas bottle to German specification or replace the gas pressure regulator yourself. For a holiday home in France or Italy, that is real extra effort.
A hose rupture safety device shuts off the gas if suddenly too much of it flows out behind the regulator, for example because the hose has been torn off. It does not help against a small leak at a screw connection. As a general rule, you check that after every bottle change with leak detection spray or soapy water at all connections; if bubbles form, the valve stays closed.
The cabinet has room for a 5 kg bottle. A larger bottle is not mentioned in the details, and we would not assume that an 11 kg bottle fits. It would stand next to the cart, and the hose would have to reach that far.
We worked out roughly how long the small bottle lasts, because the seller gives no gas consumption. Propane contains around 12.8 kWh per kilogram. With all four main burners on full, at 11.72 kW they burn just under 0.9 kg of gas per hour. A full 5 kg bottle would therefore be empty after a good five hours at full load, sooner with the side burner switched on. This is an upper limit for consumption, not a measured value: if you grill at half power or indirectly, you get considerably further. Which bottle sizes exist and how long they last on average is covered in our guide Gas bottle for the grill.
Does the TLSUNNY fit on a balcony?
Space-wise often yes, but whether you may grill with gas there is decided by your tenancy agreement and house rules. The seller expressly names the balcony as a place of use, alongside terrace and beach, and the detail table lists the grill for outdoor use. A manual with minimum clearances is missing.
On top of the 133 x 42 cm footprint comes the space where you stand yourself, plus the path to the balcony door, which should stay clear. Without a manual you also lack the distances to the wall, railing and awning that you would otherwise simply adopt. As a general rule for gas grills: only operate outdoors, never under a closed roof, keep clear of anything that can burn, and do not put the bottle in full sun.
On smoke, the seller argues with the charcoal grill: the gas grill produces almost no smoke in comparison. When lighting up, that is true, because no charcoal has to burn through. But a gas grill produces just as much of the smoke that arises when fat drips from the food into the flame, and that is exactly what drifts onto the neighbour’s balcony. We have summarised the legal situation and what landlords pay attention to in the guide Grilling on a balcony.
What else comes into question?
| Model | The difference | Price | Our rating | Choose this one if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TLSUNNY 4+1 Master (this one) | 4 burners plus side burner, cabinet for a 5 kg bottle, 2 wheels | approx. €290 | 7.7 | you want to store the bottle in the cart and can manage with 5 kg |
| LIFERUN Gasgrill 4+1 | 4 casters, 2 of them with brakes | approx. €270 | 7.8 | you move the grill often or want to lock it in place |
| TAINO Red 4+1 | enamelled grates, bottle holder for 5 and 8 kg | approx. €200 | 7.7 | your budget is tighter or you use an 8 kg bottle |
| Weber Spirit II E-310 | 3 burners, porcelain-enamelled cast iron grates, voluntary warranty per component, no side burner | approx. €460 | 9.2 | a manual, warranty and spare parts matter more to you than a fifth burner |
The prices are the guide values from our price boxes and change constantly. The rating is our editorial assessment from the data sheets; nobody has measured it.
When the TLSUNNY fits, and when another cart does
Three of the four grills in the table have a side burner; only the Weber does not. If you want to boil potatoes next to the grate or reduce a sauce, the E-310 is out, and the choice lies between TLSUNNY, LIFERUN and TAINO. There, other things decide.
First, the gas bottle. A 5 kg bottle fits in the TLSUNNY cabinet, and by the calculation above it runs out faster than you think on long evenings with many guests. The TAINO Red has a holder for 5 and 8 kg bottles and costs approx. €200 according to our price box (this one: approx. €290). If you already own an 8 kg bottle, you can fit it in the cart there.
Then the undercarriage. If the grill stays in the same place all season, two wheels hardly matter. If instead you push it into a corner or under a roof after every grilling session, the LIFERUN with four casters, two of them braked, has the better undercarriage in our comparison. It costs approx. €270 (this one: approx. €290).
And the documents. Here lies the biggest difference in our assessment, although it appears on no equipment list. For the Weber Spirit II E-310 there is a manual with set-up and gas instructions and a voluntary warranty that Weber graduates by component. For that you pay approx. €460 (this one: approx. €290) and give up the fifth burner. We would do that if the grill is meant to last ten years and you are prepared to buy a burner or regulator as a spare part at some point.
How many steaks fit on the grate at once, we cannot tell you for the TLSUNNY as long as the cooking area is not broken down. On top of the grill price come the gas bottle and, if the cart spends the winter outdoors, a cover, for which no matching model is named.
Grease, interior, cleaning
For grease, the cart has a small grease drawer and, in the seller’s words, a square oversized grease tray. Then there is the only care note we could find: after use, the “grease tray and grease drawer must be cleaned in good time” to avoid excessive grease build-up. In addition, the interior is removable, which according to the seller makes cleaning easier. Which parts are meant remains open.
Whether the grate or tray may go in the dishwasher, which cleaners the powder coating tolerates and whether you should season the grate before the first grilling is unclear. We would start carefully: warm water with washing-up liquid, a nylon brush, no oven spray on painted surfaces. This caution comes from us, not from the seller. How to keep a gas grill clean in general is covered in the guide Cleaning a gas grill.
What the manufacturer does not state
Without a manufacturer website and manual, these points remain open: the area of the main grate in centimetres, whether the shelf in the photo is a warming rack and how large it would be, the material of the lid and combustion chamber and whether the lid is double-walled, the material of the grate at the side burner, maximum temperature and heat-up time, whether the burners have a flame failure device with a thermocouple, a CE marking or test number, whether the wheels can be locked, a matching cover, spare parts, warranty terms, company address and a contact person in the EU; the Amazon field for the responsible person does not load.
For safety, the missing information on the flame failure device weighs most heavily. A flame failure device shuts off the gas if a flame goes out, for example through a gust of wind. Whether the TLSUNNY can do this cannot be read from the catalogue data. We would therefore never leave a burner running unattended and would check briefly after each ignition that all selected burners are actually burning.
Who is it suitable for?
Our assessment: the TLSUNNY suits you if you grill on a terrace or in a garden in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, regularly need a pot next to the grate and can manage with a 5 kg bottle in the cabinet. We would weight the cabinet higher than the number of burners, because it takes the bottle out of the way and out of the sun.
It is the wrong choice for anyone who wants to keep a grill running for many years with spare parts. In the model number field, Amazon shows only “48,000 BTU”, the sum of 4 x 10,000 and 8,000 BTU, and as the model name “4+1 Bruciatore”, the Italian word for burner. With these designations you will hardly find a matching part for a defective regulator or burner. According to the detail table, the grill is made in China. If you are still unsure which type suits you at all, the Grill finder helps.
