The C-5750 is Weber's 57 cm kettle grill in Smoke Grey with a hinged coated steel grate, GBS centre section and One-Touch cleaning; according to Weber's 2022 archive page, a Tuck-Away lid holder is included. Weber no longer lists it in its catalogue (as of 6 October 2026); on Amazon on 6 October 2026, only marketplace sellers offered it, from approx. €396.

We have not handled the Master-Touch GBS C-5750, a Weber charcoal kettle grill with a 57 cm diameter, and we have not grilled anything on it. Here we compare data. The C-5750 details come from three Weber documents: the product page for item number 14710004 in the archive snapshot of 28 May 2022, user manual 69137 of 31 October 2018 and assembly instructions 54764. The manual applies jointly to the E-5750, C-5750, SE E-5755 and SE C-5755 and describes some features with the caveat that they depend on the model purchased; for the C-5750, the feature list on the product page then counts. For the comparison we add the Weber shop pages of 6 October 2026 and the Amazon catalogue. We label our own calculations and assessments as such.

A model Weber no longer lists

On 6 October 2026, the Weber pages for the C-5750 (Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Singapore) return a 404 error; the message says the page no longer exists or is temporarily unavailable. It does not appear in the current German catalogue of the Master-Touch range; the FAQ lists the six models there.

On Amazon there is no offer from Amazon itself for the C-5750. On 6 October 2026, marketplace sellers offered it from €396.47, more than the list price of €369.00 shown by the archived Weber page in May 2022, and around €97 more than the €299.00 Weber charged for the E-5750 on 6 October 2026.

Weber sold the grill under item number 14710004 as the Master-Touch GBS C-5750 charcoal grill Ø 57 cm in Smoke Grey. The Amazon listing is titled “Weber Master-Touch GBS C-5750 Grill, grau” and gives 14710004 as the model number. Only Amazon’s own catalogue proves whether this listing really belongs to the Weber number.

Bowl, grate and frame

The bowl and lid are made of porcelain-enamelled steel. According to the manual, the coating reflects heat so that you can cook with convection heat; that it never chips is Weber’s own promise.

The cooking grate is made of durable, coated steel. This is stated on page 4 of the manual, as is the fact that only the C-5755 and SE E-5755 have stainless steel grates. The grate is therefore made of steel and not of cast iron. It folds up on both sides so that you can add fuel, and its centre section is removable. In its place go inserts from the Gourmet BBQ System (GBS): the manual names a searing grate, a poultry roaster and a pizza stone as examples, the product page a pizza stone, wok and pan. All inserts are available separately. When the grate is not in the bowl, you hang it on one of the curved hooks on the side of the bowl.

The charcoal grate in the bowl is made of solid steel; according to Weber, it will neither burn through nor warp. The aluminium ash catcher is fully enclosed so that the ash is not blown around, and it can be removed for emptying. It is filled by the stainless steel One-Touch cleaning system: when you move the handle back and forth, three blades in the bowl sweep the ash into it.

The Tuck-Away lid holder holds the lid to the side so that you can watch the food or add charcoal. You must not use it as a handle for lifting or moving the grill. The lid handle has a heat shield, and the bowl handle is made of glass-reinforced nylon. According to the manual, two hooks for grill tools sit on the handle. According to Weber, the lid vent is made of rust-resistant aluminium and its handle conducts heat away; the thermometer is built into the lid.

The product photo shows a round grey bowl on legs, with two wheels and a triangular wire shelf between the legs; Weber lists a bottom grid as a feature. According to Weber, the wheels are sturdy, moulded all-weather rubber wheels (20 cm); Weber counts a spring clip and retaining pin as part of the leg assembly. The captions on the archived Weber page note that images only illustrate size and that the model and features may differ.

With the lid closed, the grill measures 107 cm in height, 65 cm in width and 72 cm in depth according to Weber, and 118 x 65 x 76 cm with the lid open. The weight is 21.319 kg; the Amazon catalogue field converts to 18.0 kg and therefore contradicts Weber. We go with the manufacturer. Weber puts the total cooking area at 2,342 cm².

The assembly instructions consist of 20 numbered steps in several languages and point to the free BILT app with 3D instructions. According to the pictogram, you need a screwdriver; a small assembly tool is included. You tighten fasteners securely but not too tight, and before use all parts must be assembled and firmly tightened.

These details are missing from the Weber documents available to us and from our data:

  • Measuring range and accuracy of the lid thermometer
  • Maximum temperature of the grill
  • Coating and exact dimensions of the cooking grate, material of the legs, frame and bottom grid
  • Bowl volume and capacity of the ash pan in litres
  • Number of people per cooking area (Weber states only the area and the number of burgers)
  • Time until the charcoal is ready, in minutes (Weber uses the white ash layer as the criterion)
  • Burn time and charcoal consumption in kilograms per hour
  • Assembly time and number of people needed for assembly
  • Country of manufacture and year of market launch of the C-5750
  • Duration of spare parts availability
  • Statements on rain and wind protection, apart from the ban on grilling in strong wind
  • Reason for the weight discrepancy between Weber and Amazon
  • Prices for charcoal, firelighters, smoking wood, gloves and brush

In detail: air, zones and charcoal

More air means a higher temperature. For direct grilling, you open the lid vent and the bowl vents fully; for indirect grilling or smoking, you close both about halfway; and if both are fully closed, the charcoal goes out. On the Master-Touch, the bowl vents are the three blades of the One-Touch system: open, they let oxygen reach the embers; closed, they make it easier to extinguish them. As a general rule for any kettle grill without a fan: the openings determine how much oxygen the embers get, and the amount of charcoal determines how long they burn.

For lighting, the manual describes two ways. With the separately available RAPIDFIRE chimney starter, you place it on the charcoal grate, fill it with charcoal and light it with newspaper or firelighters. Without a chimney, you pile the charcoal into a pyramid in the middle of the charcoal grate, place a few firelighters (also separate) in it and light it with a long match or lighter. In both cases, you wait until all the charcoal is covered in white ash; the firelighters must be completely burned off before food goes on the grate.

According to the manual, direct heat suits small, tender food that is cooked in less than 20 minutes, for example hamburgers, steaks, chops, kebabs, boneless chicken pieces, fish fillets, seafood and sliced vegetables. You spread the charcoal evenly over the charcoal grate, open the lid vent and the One-Touch lever fully, insert the grate, close the lid and preheat for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then you brush the grate and put the food on. For the 57 cm bowl, Weber specifies 30 Weber briquettes, 40 charcoal briquettes, 1¾ measuring cups of beech lump charcoal (0.98 kg) or 1¼ measuring cups of lump charcoal from mixed woods; Weber includes the measuring cup with the grill. When all the charcoal is glowing red, the temperature under the lid should be 260 °C, as a guide after preheating.

Indirect heat suits large pieces with a cooking time of 20 minutes or more and very delicate food, such as roasts, bone-in poultry pieces, whole chickens and turkeys, or ribs. The charcoal lies on opposite sides of the charcoal grate, loose or in the charcoal baskets, and not near the lid and bowl handles or directly under the thermometer and lid vent. A drip pan can be placed between the charcoal. You always put the lid on so that the thermometer is not directly above the charcoal, so that it is not exposed to direct heat. There is a separate guide on choosing between briquettes and charcoal; Weber calculates per side as follows: for Weber briquettes 15 for the first hour and 4 for each further hour, for charcoal briquettes 20 and then 7 per hour, for beech lump charcoal or lump charcoal from mixed woods ½ measuring cup and then a handful.

Weber classes smoking as indirect heat. You put wood onto the lit charcoal and move the One-Touch lever to the smoking position. When the lid thermometer shows the smoking range of 95 to 135 °C, you hold it there with the lid vent. Wood quantities and choice of wood are in the FAQ; the basic principle is explained in the guide Smoking on the grill. On the product page, Weber lists a smoking setting as a feature.

Does the C-5750 fit on my balcony?

Only if your balcony meets Weber’s siting rules: use outdoors, no combustible structure overhead and nothing combustible within 1.5 m all around. The manual says nothing about balconies themselves; whether charcoal is allowed where you live is decided by your tenancy agreement and house rules (the guide Grilling on a balcony gives an overview).

Weber prohibits use in garages, buildings, covered walkways and other enclosed areas. The grill is intended for well-ventilated outdoor areas, is not a heater and must never be used as one. Toxic gases build up indoors; in enclosed or habitable spaces, for example in buildings, tents, caravans, motorhomes or on boats, there is a danger to life from carbon monoxide poisoning. It is not suitable for installation in or on caravans and boats. It stands only on a safe, level surface, never on a glass surface or combustible surface and never under a combustible structure, and it stays off in strong wind. Combustible materials must not be within 1.5 m; Weber gives parts made of (treated) wood on a patio or veranda as an example.

If you add 1.5 m all round to the base dimensions of 65 x 72 cm, you get an area of about 3.65 x 3.72 m in which nothing combustible should lie (our own calculation from Weber’s external dimensions). Our assessment: anyone who cannot keep an area of about 3.7 x 3.7 m free of combustibles on the balcony does not meet the 1.5 m rule, and a wooden floor covering, as Weber gives as an example, fails the rule from the outset.

Safety, cleaning and warranty according to the manual

The safety notes are on page 2 of the manual, graded as notice, danger, warning and caution. The siting rules are in the balcony section; the rest follows here, arranged by situation.

Lighting

The charcoal always lies on the charcoal grate, never directly on the bottom of the bowl. To light or relight, you use neither methylated spirits nor petrol, only firelighters complying with EN 1860-3; never petrol, alcohol or other volatile liquids to ignite it. Weber advises against liquid lighter fluid: impractical and affecting the taste (chemical-like), with firelighter cubes being better. The manual deliberately contains no instructions for it. If you use it anyway, you follow the manufacturer’s instructions and never add lighter fluid or charcoal soaked in it to warm or hot charcoal; you close the lighter fluid container immediately and set it down at a safe distance from the grill. Beforehand, you check the ash catcher: liquid can drip through the vents in the bowl and collect there, it can ignite and cause a fire, and it must be removed before lighting.

You use the grill only when all parts are correctly fitted and it has been assembled according to the assembly instructions, because incorrect assembly can be dangerous. It stays off without the ash catcher fitted.

While grilling

The grill gets very hot and must not be moved during use. It is never left unattended during use, and you keep children and pets away. When lighting and operating it, you do not wear clothing with loose sleeves. Whether the grate, charcoal grate, ash, charcoal or grill are hot, you never check by touching. When grilling, adjusting the vents, adding charcoal, using the thermometer and opening or closing the lid, you wear heat-resistant barbecue gloves with contact heat resistance level 2 or higher according to DIN EN 407 (the standard that applies in Germany and the EU); the grill tools need long, heat-resistant handles.

Flammable gases and liquids such as petrol or alcohol, and other combustible materials, have no place in the grilling area. You keep electric cables away from the hot surfaces and route them so that they are not in the way. Alcohol and prescription or non-prescription medicines can impair the ability to assemble or operate the grill properly and safely. You do not line the bowl with aluminium foil, as that impairs the air supply; for the meat juices during indirect cooking, you use a drip pan.

Extinguishing and ash

To extinguish, you close the lid vent and the bowl vents and then the lid. You never use water against flare-ups or to extinguish the charcoal. You remove ash only when all the charcoal has burned out and gone out and the grill has cooled, and you may dispose of it only when it has gone out completely. Hot charcoal never belongs where someone could step on it or where there is a fire risk. You may store the grill only when ash and charcoal have gone out completely.

Cleaning

Before each use, you remove ash and old charcoal from the bottom of the bowl and from the ash catcher, as soon as the charcoal is no longer glowing and the grill has cooled. To do this, you take out the charcoal grate and use the One-Touch system to sweep ash and charcoal remains into the pan, without blocking the vents. The pan comes out when you squeeze its lever. Afterwards you open the vents, insert the charcoal grate and open the lid vent fully.

Before the first grilling, you heat up and let the charcoal glow strongly for at least 30 minutes with the lid closed, so that any production residues burn off. You clean the preheated grate with a stainless steel bristle grill brush before putting food on; Weber advises oiling the food instead of the grate. You check brushes regularly for loose bristles and excessive wear and replace them; Weber recommends a new one at the start of the season.

Paint-like flakes on the inside of the lid are carbon deposited from fat and smoke. You remove them with a stainless steel grill brush; if you wipe the inside while warm but not hot with a paper towel, fewer new deposits form according to Weber. In harsh environments (acid rain, chemicals, salt water, risk of rust) you clean the outside more often, with warm soapy water, then rinse it off and dry it thoroughly. Sharp objects and abrasive cleaning agents stay away from every surface.

Warranty

Weber’s manufacturer’s warranty is voluntary and free of charge and covers defects in materials and workmanship, provided you assemble and operate the grill according to the manual and use it in a single private household under normal use and maintenance. The statutory warranty rights remain unaffected; in the EU they apply for two years from delivery. The 2018 manual grades it by component: bowl, lid and middle ring 10 years, stainless steel components 5 years and the One-Touch cleaning system 5 years, all three against rusting through or burning through; plastic components 5 years, excluding fading and discolouration; all other parts 2 years. The 2022 product page shows the same periods for bowl and lid, One-Touch system, plastic and other parts. We do not know whether these conditions still apply to the C-5750 today, because the product page can no longer be reached. According to the manual, registering on weber.com is beneficial but not required; you keep the original proof of purchase or invoice.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable, except in the case of a gift or a promotion. It does not cover grills used commercially, at municipal level or in multi-family housing; Weber names restaurants, hotels, resorts and rental properties. It lapses in the event of damage, discolouration or rust caused by misuse, improper use, alteration, use for other purposes, wilful damage, neglect, incorrect assembly or installation and lack of regular maintenance, by insects and rodents, by salty air or chlorine sources such as swimming pools and whirlpools, and by extreme weather (hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, storm surges, tornadoes or severe storms). The use or installation of parts that are not original Weber parts also voids it; resulting damage is not covered. Anyone living in a coastal region or storing the grill near a pool must clean and rinse the exterior regularly.

Accessories and running costs

Inserts for the GBS centre section are not included with the grill. On the E-5750 page on 6 October 2026, the Weber shop offers the Premium cover for €69.99 and the Rapidfire lighting set for €29.99, together €99.98. The C-5750 product page can no longer be reached at Weber, so the two items are documented only for the E-5750; because Weber states the same dimensions for both models, we also count them as an example for the C-5750. Relative to the approx. €396 on Amazon, that would be €99.98, or 25 per cent of the grill price (our own calculation).

Ongoing costs add charcoal, firelighters, smoking wood, gloves of the required protection level and a stainless steel bristle brush. The iGrill dock, which the archived 2022 product page lists as a feature of the C-5750, is according to the manual a magnetic mounting surface for iGrill Mini or iGrill 2 with space for up to 4 probes; you buy the thermometers separately, and you remove the dock when not in use.

The manual shows spare parts on page 15 in a drawing with positions 1 to 23 for the 57 cm models E-5750, C-5750, C-5755 and SE E-5755.

What else comes into question?

Model The difference Price Our rating Choose this one if
Weber Master-Touch GBS C-5750 (this one) Hinged coated steel grate with GBS centre section, Tuck-Away holder approx. €396 8.9 you want exactly this version in Smoke Grey
Weber Master-Touch GBS E-5750 Same feature list according to Weber, only in black approx. €329 9.1 you want to buy the grill new from Weber, where it is listed
Weber Master-Touch GBS E-5755 Stainless steel grate instead of coated steel (manual: SE E-5755) approx. €379 9.0 you want a grate without a coating
Napoleon NK22K-LEG-2 Chrome-plated steel grate, air deflector in the middle of the bowl approx. €373 9.5 you do not need GBS inserts and want an air deflector

The prices come from the data sheets of our reviews and are guide values; the rating is our editorial assessment based on manufacturer data. Weber itself charged €299 for the E-5750 and €349 for the E-5755 on 6 October 2026. The Napoleon details come from archive pages of the manufacturer; in the current German Napoleon range (retrieved 24 September 2026), an NK22K-LEG-2 is no longer listed, and the 57 cm model is called NK22K-LEG-3 there. Further 57 cm models are shown in the comparison of the best kettle grills 2026.

When the C-5750 suits you and when it does not

Because Weber states both models as identical apart from colour (details in the FAQ), the price decides. On Amazon, the E-5750 at approx. €329 is around €68 below the C-5750 at approx. €396, and against Weber’s own price of €299 the gap is around €97. Our assessment: the E-5750 is the safer choice, because Weber lists it in its catalogue but no longer lists the C-5750.

How durable the coating on the C-5750’s grate is, Weber does not describe. Derived from general materials science, not from Weber data: the stainless steel grate of the E-5755 in the table has no applied coating that could flake off.

Charcoal needs lead time: the charcoal must first be covered in white ash, then comes preheating. Anyone who wants to grill spontaneously after work on a weekday is, in our assessment, better served by gas or electric (the Grill Finder narrows this down). At 21.319 kg according to Weber and with two wheels, the grill can be repositioned; during use it must not be moved according to the manual.

We would not buy the C-5750 if the retailer confirms neither the Tuck-Away holder nor the charcoal baskets, because only the archived product page documents both.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Weber Master-Touch GBS C-5750

Short, clear answers about buying, using and caring for Weber Master-Touch GBS C-5750.

Does the C-5750 have the Tuck-Away lid holder?

Yes, according to Weber: the feature list on the product page for item 14710004 includes the Tuck-Away lid holder, and the operating steps in the manual (pages 7, 10, 11 and 12) assume it. Page 5, however, says that the equipment depends on the model purchased. The product page as of 28 May 2022 is therefore the deciding source.

Are charcoal baskets included?

According to the Weber product page, yes: the product details list two Char-Basket charcoal baskets. The manual says nothing about the scope of delivery, but it describes their use for indirect grilling: the baskets go onto the charcoal grate in the bowl first, before the charcoal is lit.

What is the difference between the C-5750 and the E-5750?

According to Weber's product data, they differ in colour, and in the archive also in price: the E-5750 (item number 14701004) comes only in black, while the C-5750 (14710004) came in Smoke Grey, Slate Blue and Deep Ocean Blue. On Weber's archived pages from May and June 2022, the list price of the C-5750 at €369.00 was €34.01 above that of the E-5750 at €334.99.

How many burgers fit on the grate?

Weber states up to 13 burger patties, but with Weber's hamburger press, which counts as an accessory. When loading, the lid matters too: the food must fit on the grate with the lid closed, and 2.5 cm of clearance should remain between the food and the lid.

How much charcoal do I need for five hours of indirect cooking?

For five hours it is 62 to 96 pieces for both sides, depending on the briquette type, according to our calculation from Weber's quantity table for the 57 cm bowl. Weber gives the quantities per side and hour: for Weber briquettes 15 for the first hour plus four times 4, so 31 per side and 62 in total; for charcoal briquettes 20 plus four times 7, so 48 per side and 96 in total.

Which wood can I use for smoking?

Weber describes 2 to 4 wood chunks or a handful of smoking chips, which go onto the lit charcoal. You avoid soft, resinous woods such as pine, cedar or poplar, and you never use treated or chemically contaminated wood. Which types of wood suit which food is covered in our guide to smoking on the grill.

Which Master-Touch models does Weber currently sell?

Besides the E-5750, the German Weber shop listed five more on 6 October 2026: the E-5755 for €349, the Premium (E-5770) for €399, a 57 cm model in deep sea blue for €349, the C-5755 in Burnt Orange for €349 (according to the page currently unavailable, only in Weber Stores) and a 67 cm model for €499 (not available).

How do I make a warranty claim?

You contact Weber customer service; according to the 2018 manual, you can reach Weber-Stephen Deutschland GmbH on +49 (0) 30 219 0710 or at service-de@weber.com. Weber repairs or replaces the part at its own discretion. You may have to send parts in for inspection and pay the shipping costs in advance, and compensation never exceeds the purchase price. The serial number is on the lid vent.
